Robert Griffin III.

The Athlete...

The relentless will to win and be the best has propelled RG3 to countless athletic achievements.

RG3 Copperas Cove High School
Copperas Cove High School:
A star is in the making.

He and his fellow freshman went 3-9 during their freshman football season. By the time they were seniors, Robert led the Bulldawgs to two state championship games. As a freshman, Robert was the starting point guard for the varsity basketball team at Copperas Cove High School, which hadn’t made it to the playoffs in 12 years. By his junior year, Robert led his team on the court to a winning record and the playoffs. Robert was the lone freshman on his varsity track team and by his junior year he helped lead the Copperas Cove track team to a State Championship Title.

Baylor University:
Here we are, world. Heisman, USA.

After graduating High School a semester early, he enrolled at

Baylor University in January of 2008 at the tender age of 17 years old.

By the age of 18, he was running the 400 hurdles in the United States Olympic Trials. By attending Baylor University, Robert accepted the challenge (along with new Head Coach Art Briles) of helping turn

around a program that had endured a 16 year bowl drought.

Not only did he help lead Baylor to its first bowl game in 16 years,

but he also lead Baylor to back-to-back bowl games and the school’s

first ever Heisman Trophy.

RG3 - In the NFL

After a record-setting career at Baylor, where he helped put an entire university on the college football map, Robert was ready for the next challenge life had in store. On April 26th, 2012 he got the call every kid dreams of when the Washington Redskins selected him as the second overall pick in the NFL draft. After starting his professional career 3-6 with the Washington Redskins, Robert helped lead his team to 7 straight victories on their way to their first division title in 12 years and their first playoff appearance since 2007. Robert’s season was ended in heartbreaking fashion when he suffered a severe knee injury.

However, he incredibly got himself ready for the next season following rigorous rehabilitation training in the off-season. As it stands today Robert is relentless in his pursuit of bringing super bowl championships to the Ravens and City of Baltimore.
